Unfortunately, many of the residents who are homeless on Holomua Rd. were ineligible due to no legal documents or physical address to verify their qualifications with the minimum benefits such as EBT or Medquest. I work diligently exploring all avenues of providing this much needed kokua.

For the month of August, we cleaned the outside of the homeless community. There continues to be illegal dumping of trash bags full of rubbish, home appliances, and green waste outside of the community. We provide everyone within the community with trash bags and gloves to malama their areas so we are not within their personal spaces.
